The Pilates Method (pronounced puh-LAH-teez) of body conditioning is an extremely comprehensive program, comparable with other professional bodywork training programs. Imagine an exercise program that you look forward to, that engages you, and that leaves you refreshed and alert with a feeling of physical and mental well-being. Pilates body conditioning will do all this... and more.

The Pilates Method focuses on improving flexibility and strength for the total body without building bulk. Not surprisingly, some of the first people to use Pilates were dancers such as Martha Graham and George Balanchine.

Pilates is more than just exercise, however. Through advancing series of controlled movements engaging your body and mind, and supervised by extensively trained teachers, one can make great strides in increasing awareness of breath, centering, concentration, control, precision and flow of movement.
